A place to slow down
Haven was built on a plain idea: good hospitality is less about grandeur and more about feeling at ease. On 12 acres of private coastline in Monterey, we made a place where time moves at your pace.
Today Haven has 86 rooms, 3 restaurants, a full-service spa, and a team of 120 whose one job is to help you settle in and stay a while.

Before you book
What time is check in and check out?
Check in starts at 3:00 pm and check out is by 11:00 am. Early check in and late check out depend on the day; ask the front desk and we will hold your room when we can.
Do you offer free cancellation?
Rooms booked direct can be cancelled at no charge up to 48 hours before check in. Cancellations inside 48 hours are charged one night.
Is parking available?
Yes. Self parking is $25 per night and valet is $40 per night, both with in and out access. Two accessible spaces sit near the lobby entrance.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs up to 40 pounds stay for $75 per night in Garden View and Ocean View rooms, with a bed and bowls provided. Villas and suites are kept pet free.
Is breakfast included?
Room rates do not include breakfast. The Beach Grill serves breakfast from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, and room service runs from 6:00 am to midnight.
